"they fell alusting"

"...and they fell alusting: and the children of Israel also wept again and said, 'Who shall give us flesh to eat...?'" (Numbers 11:4)

Tired of the manna from heaven, these people began to weep over how bad they wanted a good square meal. It almost seems silly and childish that grown folk could cry over not getting their way...yet how often do we exhibit this attitude toward the Lord?

I have been motivated to search my heart and ask God to reveal to the ways in which I act like this towards Him.

O God, have mercy upon me, a sinner.
